Establishing Classroom Beliefs

$3.00

This resource includes four detailed lesson plans to guide you in establishing the classroom beliefs of being respectful, safe, honest, and responsible. The lessons facilitate your instruction so that students are able to identify what each of these beliefs looks like and sounds like. Once the beliefs are understood by your students, a list of classroom rules is no longer necessary. Establishing classroom beliefs rather than rules creates a sense of community and makes managing behaviours much simpler.

Here is the lesson plan for establishing the belief of respect. The other three lessons are formatted in the same way.
